Wandering Paths

Sometimes our path isn’t what we think it should be. It has taken me many years to come to terms with the fact of the things that I thought I wanted to do or be never came to fruition and how I wished that my past was different so many times.  I often thought I could’ve done this or I wish I had different parents, or a different upbringing, many years of struggling with the should of, could of, I finally realize those experiences are what made me who I am today.  I finally came to terms with this by thinking about where those could of and should ofs would have taken me.   If I had joined the military as I so wanted to do right out of high school, there is a good chance my oldest child would not be here.  The military would have most likely taken me far and wide, but would I have been in the right place to meet my husband?  Without that meeting, my youngest children would not be here.  Today I am so thankful for my husband and children and would never want a life devoid of them.  Without the trials and hardship, I have been through I would not have learned just how strong I can be, with God’s help.  It is true, if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it.  I can tell you sometimes it seems as if you will never get through the storm, but it will pass. Another wishful thought I had was that I could have been a better student who earned a scholarship to college, the reality is that I dropped out of high school in my senior year to due to an unrelenting bully.  Fast forward to May of 2017 when I walked the stage to accept my doctorate in educational leadership degree and the victory was sweet!  God can take any circumstance and use it for His glory, you just need a little bit of faith.  I would love to hear about your wandering path, please feel free to comment below.

My brother recommended I might like this blog. He was entirely right. This post truly made my day. You can not imagine simply how much time I had spent for this information! Thanks! Aeriell Ian Undine

Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to mention that I
have really enjoyed surfing around your weblog posts.

    you write once more soon!

First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do
not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.
I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or
    hints? Thank you!

Thank you for your question. I find I have certain times of the day that it is easier for me to write. For me it is first thing in the morning. I also keep my blog post short for 2 reasons, I can write a couple at a time and feel accomplished and my readers don’t need to take a lot of time out of their day to read recent post. Usually, I will get topic ideas throughout the day. I make notes of these ideas in my task list so when I sit down to write I have ideas to start with. I hope this helps. Good luck with your writing.

Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need some
help from an established blog. Is it difficult to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.

I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not
sure where to start. Do you have any points or suggestions?

    Many thanks

Thank you for your question. I found Heather Delaney Reese and her blog It’s a Lovely Life. Following her advice and free short course I had my blog up and running in 5 days! Good luck with your blog!
