Pre-Halloween 2021
I have always been a fan of Halloween for the simple fact I get to dress in costume. Part of it is getting to wear something fancy and or fun but the other part is expressing my creativity. I will use any excuse to make or buy a new costume. Last year derailed me in my pursuit of the perfect Halloween costume. My Hair: The Early Years
The relationship I have had with my hair over the years could be described as on again off again. When I was born I had very little hair, my mother told me she used to tape bows on my head so people would stop asking about her cute little boy. My hair took its sweet time growing. By the time I entered kindergarten, I had enough hair that my mom thought it was time to continue the family tradition of my first home perm. Children with Hair Loss Donation
As I started writing for this blog one page quickly became two and that really goes against my original plan to keep my posts short so they don’t take too much time to read. So this is part one of a multipart series. My last big hair cut was in 2008 when I donated to another charity that solicits hair donations for cancer patients. Since that donation, I found out the charity charges for the wigs that are given to children. One of my daughters found the charity Children with Hair Loss and they never charge for the wigs they give to children. Additionally, they accepted dyed hair. I…
